Representative Gonzalez will soon be introducing our legislative fix with at least 35 original cosponsors to help fix the CMS Rule that was constructed on erroneous data for cardiology. With a short time left in the 2009 legislative calendar, we have an uphill battle, but we continue to move forward with our fight. ACC is also looking at a possible legal remedy but that would be a last resort as it would be a long, drawn out expensive fight that would give legislators an excuse not to address the problem in their ring.
